The Challenge

Make cutting-edge AI feel approachable without dumbing it down.

Nebula AI had a powerful product but a forgettable brand. They were competing for enterprise contracts against companies with ten times their marketing budget. They needed a visual identity that communicated both technical depth and simplicity — an identity that could live on a pitch deck to Series B investors and a developer docs page equally well.

The founders came to us with a clear ask: "Make us look like the company we're going to be in three years."

The Approach

A visual language built on the tension between complexity and clarity.

We started with the metaphor of a nebula — a cloud of matter that's simultaneously chaotic and structured, formless and full of potential. That tension became the core of the brand: complex technology presented with radical clarity.

The logo system uses a custom wordmark paired with a generative icon that can shift and morph across contexts. The color palette moves from deep space blues to bright signal whites, with an accent color that references neural activation patterns.

We designed the full guidelines system, including a type scale, icon set, photography direction, and motion principles that carry across web, print, and product.
